Le 07.10.2018, le COQUELICOT 42 était représenté à la Cérémonie du Souvenir Français organisée au Cimetière du Crêt de Roch à ST ETIENNE pour le transfert dans la crypte du monument du Souvenir Français de 5 cercueils d’anciens ‘’Poilus’’ ligériens morts au combat pendant la Guerre 14-18.

En présence de Mr le Préfet de la Loire Mr Evince RICHARD, des élus de la Région Rhône-Alpes Auvergne représentée par la Vice-Présidente Marie-Camille REY, du département représenté par le Président Mr Georges ZIEGLER, des députés représentés par Mr Jean-Michel MIS, de ST ETIENNE METROPOLE représenté par Mr Le Maire Gaël PERDRIAU et le premier Adjoint de ST ETIENNE Mr Gilles ARTIGUES, des porte-drapeaux des différentes associations d’anciens combattants, des familles des défunts, le défilé conduit par l’Harmonie de ST ETIENNE a mené le cortège jusqu’au monument du Souvenir Français.

 "Le Chant du Départ" a été interprété par le ténor Bastien DUCOGNON. 

Après le message du délégué général et la sonnerie aux Morts, le ténor Bastien DUCOGNON a interprété la Marseillaise avant que ne soient déposés les 5 cercueils dans la crypte et les gerbes de fleurs aux pieds du monument.

Le COQUELICOT 42 se trouvait représenté en tête de cortège avec 2 porte-drapeaux, anciens athlètes du CLUB ATHLETIQUE DU COQUELICOT.

Léon MOCHKOVITH pour les médaillés de la Légion d’Honneur, 78 ans, athlète du C.A.C. de 1955 à 1965.

Pierre BIFFAUD pour l’association du Souvenir Français, 79 ans, athlète du C.A.C. de 1954 à 1959.

Etaient également présents le Lieutenant-Colonel RIBEYRON, et Jean RICHARD, athlètes du C.A.C. dans les années 50.

Le Comité Directeur du COQUELICOT 42 était représenté par Thierry REBUFFEL.

The October 07, 2018, the COQUELICOT 42 Athletics was represented at the Ceremony of the French Souvenir organized in the Cemetery of the Crêt de Roch in ST ÉTIENNE (France) for the transfer in the crypt of  the French Souvenir’s monument of 5 coffins of soldiers '' Poilus '' dead in combat during the WW1.

In the presence of Mr. Prefect of the Loire Mr Evince RICHARD, elected representatives of the Rhône-Alpes Auvergne Region represented by the Vice-President Marie-Camille REY, of the department represented by the President Mr Georges ZIEGLER, deputies represented by Mr Jean- Michel MIS, ST ÉTIENNE City represented by Mr Mayor Gaël PERDRIAU and the first Deputy ST ÉTIENNE Mr Gilles ARTIGUES, flag bearers of the various associations of veterans, families of the deceased, the parade led by the Harmony of ST ETIENNE led the procession to the monument of French Souvenir.

 "The Song of Departure" was performed by tenor Bastien DUCOGNON.

After the message of the delegate general and the ringing of the dead, the tenor Bastien DUCOGNON interpreted the ‘’Marseillaise’’ before the coffins were placed in the crypt and the wreaths at the foot of the monument.

The COQUELICOT 42 Athletics was represented at the head of procession with 2 flag bearers, former athletes of the COQUELICOT ATHLETIC CLUB.

Léon MOCHKOVITH (78 years old) for the Legion of Honor, athlete of the C.A.C. from 1955 to 1965.

Pierre BIFFAUD (79 years old) for the Association of the French Souvenir, athlete of the C.A.C. from 1954 to 1959.

Also present were Lieutenant-Colonel RIBEYRON and Jean RICHARD, athletes of the C.A.C. in the 50s.
The COQUELICOT 42 Athletics Board of Directors was represented by Thierry REBUFFEL.
